Silken

April 11, 1995

Silken

This pretty female is only ILR registered, she is a perfect public relations animal to work with small children or older people.  We fell in love with her, so gentle so quiet, so calm, so pretty.

Sailor Moon

June 17, 1998

This medium fibered lady is one of our premier broodmares, while not flashy looking herself; she has produced some awesome crias.  At birth her babies are always a good size and due to her abundance of milk all her babies grow quickly.  She spent a year or two as a 4-H llama being handled by our daughter Kim.  A quiet and gentle llama that would rather stay at home and raise her babies and let one of the other girls do all the public relations work. We are looking forward to breeding her to Vader’s Jedi for a 2007 cria.

Paris

Paris

This shy & pretty llama lady is the proud mother of junior herdsire Atreyu.  She has been rebred to Grand Champion Auzeem for 2006.  A quiet easy to handle lady that is a pleasure to have around.

Nella's Nikita

April 16, 1997

Nella's Nikita

Nikki  was one of the first llamas that we acquired.  She arrived at Wayward Wind Llamas as a baby of 9 days.  She has always been special.  So it was no surprise to us that she won her first Grand Championship at Regina’s Agribition at 6 months of age.  Since then she has always been in the ribbons, has won the Canadian National Fiber Challenge and has produced four offspring.  Two of which (Auzeem & Nemowai) have been shown to multiple halter, fleece and obstacle championships. Her third cria, Takoda Noel was sold as a weanling to Viviane & Gary Evans of Dugald, Manitoba. Wayward Wind Neko, her current cria out of Total FX is for sale as a junior herdsire.  Nikita will be bred to either Jedi or Mach 3 for a 2007 cria.

Nemowai

May 18, 2001

Wayward Wind Nemowai

This beautiful young lady has done it all, she has been a multiple halter, fleece and obstacle champion.  She has been used for public & promotional events and loves to show off.  She loves travelling and will load into any empty trailer without a halter or any restraint.  She will be bred to MGF Mach 3 for a 2007 cria.

Makara

July 26, 1998

Makara

Makara was bought at a llama auction at Drayton Valley, Alberta.  She is a medium fiber, taffy colored, quiet gentle llama.  She loves giving kisses and excels as a public relations ambassador. She is always ready to meet new human friends, she loves to greet the public and escort them around the farm. She has produced two females, both of which have been sold to Viviane Evans.  Will be bred to Auzeem for 2007.

Feldspar Kanga

July 04, 1998

Feldspar Kanga

Kanga, our midnight angel, so trusting, ready to follow wherever Ashley might lead.  Always striving to please, willing to show, do public relations work or just to stay at home and raise babies.  Quiet, calm, friendly and gentle, a truly versatile llama.  We will breed her to Mach 3 for 2007.

HFL Faith

August 14, 1997

HFL Faith

Feefee, our cute little darling, what a bad girl she was, so curious & always into trouble.  She has grown into a very good mother with an abundance of milk.  Very quiet and calm, always one of the first ones to greet new visiters. Loves human campanionship.  We are considering breeding her to our junior herdsire, Jedi for 2007.

Wayward Wind Dusty

May 24 2001

Wayward Wind Dusty

Dusty is a gelding that needs to be used.  He is a big boy with a nice quiet disposition,  has fine silky fiber and would pack or cart with ease.  He is for sale at a reasonable price.  Enquiries welcome.

Desparado

1998

Desperado was our rescue llama.  He is not registered. He was terrified when Brenda bought him.  She finally won his trust.  He has won fiber events until registration was a must to enter the Fiber Events.  His micron count as a two year old was 18.6.  He has found his niche on our farm as a fiber gelding, guard animal for the mom’s at summer pasture & supervisor for the weanlings.
